In the second half of the year, I’ve been getting into Iggy Pop’s show on BBC6 radio. I knew about it a while back (like maybe a couple years ago), but finally found it again. Sundays I look forward to hearing his selections that are usually pretty eclectic. He’s got everyone from Viagra Boys to The Coasters on any given week. You’ll also probably hear some Doors and maybe a soundtrack to an Italian movie from the ’50s or ’60s. You might hear a show dedicated to people like Brian Eno or Peter Hook. Maybe a group from Siberia playing hip hop. Muddy Waters or Albert King. Every week is a new adventure.
