I’m focusing on George Harrison, here. So they give George two songs in the top 10 (“Something” and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”), but only one other (“Here Comes the Sun”) in the top 50. Here’s the list. “Taxman” made 55, and “If I Needed Someone” made 51. I didn’t see “It’s All Too Much” on there at all, which is probably my favorite Harrison Beatles track. I think they were also mistaken by saying “Within You and Without You” was the first fruit of Harrison’s sitar studies, when “Love You To” on Revolver is its precursor (and probably a better song, in my opinion). Ringo’s tracks didn’t make the cut at all, which I think is wrong. “Octopus’ Garden” and “Don’t Pass Me By” are both closer to my heart than say, “Got To Get You Into My Life” (#50). I wish “Hey Bulldog” (#81) was ranked higher.
