The Rumpus on Lethem, Brooklyn and Keeping It Real

Here’s a thoughtful piece at The Rumpus on Jonathan Lethem’s writing and the quest for authenticity in Brooklyn’s ever-changing landscape. It resonated with me. I get all worked up at the white kids moving into “my” neighborhood. Even though I was one of the first white kids to move there a few years earlier. Stupid, I know.
